Tulips

Can you see a rose among the tulips? I hadn't realised I was taking myself as well and how much I was enjoying it. I was alone in the house when I took it. Honest! I'm smiling at the tulips. Can you see the couple of rollers in my hair? I just washed it.

A forest of masts

This is a photo I took a few days ago. It is very different on the estuary today it has been windy and rough.

Almost sepia

This was taken last night just as the sun was setting, and a shower was coming in from Anglesey. It has a sepia look about it. I was surprised when I saw the result. The three I took at varying distances are all the same.

Goings on at the Castle

A rainbow

This was a lucky accident. I noticed the rainbow, but it was almost round the corner and it was raining and very windy as I stuck my head out of the window to take the photo. I hadn't noticed the reflection in the window until I downloaded it to the computer.

The silver book

This is nothing special, but it's a very important book. I jot down all sorts of important information I don't want to lose in it.

Rough Day

What a difference a couple of days make. This is not another 'two a day'. The bottom is a close-up of the first and shows part of the reason I wanted my FZ18 camera. Before they built the new Marina and Hotel I had a clear view of the horizon, but this is what I see now. I love it when it's stormy like this.
