We have never seen such a variety of birds in the garden since we've lived here and I just wondered if the berries on this tree are poisonous perhaps? We have another variety which they love, but not at this time of year.

It looks like a Skimmia to me and if it is the berries are not edible... cause stomach upsets apparently.
